Foxy Lady

By foxownerapperantly - This FML is from back in 2015 but it's good stuff - Netherlands - Hoorn

Today, an old lady in public transport yelled at me and my dog, called me a liar, and threw her grape soda over me because according to her my pet Shiba Inu was actually a fox, and keeping foxes as pets is illegal. FML

People over react so bad sometimes. It is ridiculous and unnecessary, especially older people it seems. Think they can get away with anything cause they can pull the "I'm so frail and old" card if someone tries to stick up for themselves. It's a load of BS, and I'm sorry you had to deal with that

Shibas don't even look like foxes!!! That's crazy. Love shibas by the way, I have a Shiba mix myself, but he's part boxer and German shepherd too.

I want a Shiba so bad. I could deal with grape soda being dumped on me lol. But seriously, sure they have a foxlike look but you can still tell they are dogs.

you can have just about anything that is not endangered as a pet with a little paperwork.

I have four huskies and I get called out for owning "Wolves" all the time. They don't really even look like wolves much. Makes me laugh. Northern breeds are usually misunderstood.

I've actually got a wolf, and people always come up to me, want to pet him and comment on how pretty he is. 4 huskies, that's awesome. I love dogs, and the more the better!

I would have waited for the bus to stop suddenly then punch her in the face

I used to have a red Shiba and he did look like a fox except for his curled tail. I miss him so much. He was the best dog except he loved to run away, and on one of his escapes he ran and we never found him.

Should've told her that being a **** makes old people die faster, and thst she didn't have any time to spare.

Slap her, that's all. Just Slap Her!

I want a shiba inu so badly I love those dogs! And that woman is an ignoramus. There are states where keeping a fox as a pet is legal.
