Today, I went on a date with a very cute girl. It went well, until I accidentally called the blueberries in her dessert Oran Berries. I sheepishly explained that they're a berry from the Pokémon universe, at which point she excused herself, never to return. FML

When I was younger I always mixed up Apricots and Apricorns (nuts/fruit/things that you could have special pokeballs made out of). I still occasionally do.

Naw. OP just needs to find someone who can appreciate Pokémon as much as they do! The idea that nerds are losing a chance at sex is laughable. The truth is, female/male/anything-in-between nerds love sex all the same ;3 Excluding those who are asexual, of course.

33-Believe you have your pseudo-insults mixed up, video games are awesome. (I'll not say Pokemon are awesome, because I'm not all that into it myself, but some people would probably beg to live in the Poke'verse. Respect gamer's interests - we've got billions of dollars invested in this industry. Unless you want to be locked in room until you beat I Wanna Be The Guy on Impossible, Respect The Game.)

I agree, I understand that he loves pokemon, ok fine we all love different things, but I wouldn't want to date a grown man who mistakes real blueberrys for Oran berries, because hes so into it
