Today, my boyfriend asked me to pick up a few things from the store for him while he was at work. After picking up everything he asked for, I wasn't left with much money so I used $50 from my account. When he got home he then grumbled about me spending all of "his" money. FML

Today, my boyfriend keeps mentioning how well his new job pays, while I don’t have any income. He then got upset when I expected him to pay for the groceries I got on my way to his new place. What I bought was stuff I needed so I could cook for him, and for me to eat while I’m there, cleaning and fixing stuff for him. FML

Today, I was mad at my boyfriend, so I yanked the power cord for his computer while he was gaming. Turns out, that fried part of his computer and now it won't turn on. He broke up with me, even after I apologized, and offered to replace the part. FML

Today, my girlfriend gave away my $2000 desktop computer while I was at work. When I confronted her, she said, "You have a laptop, use that instead." I thought the difference between a high-end gaming PC and a work laptop was obvious. FML

so you got money because you were a surrogate helping others who cannot provide a family themselves and had to change your life completely for all of that, And he expects you to buy and build him something? instead of wanting to take you on a vacation or talk about your futures? sounds like a serious in depth conversation is needed

The only good thing I’m getting from this is that it was a surrogate pregnancy. This guy has no business being a father…. Let alone a boyfriend. Dump his selfish butt. You spent 9 months doing irreversible damage to YOUR body and he thinks he deserves something?! F no! Kick him in the balls… and throw him $1 while you dump him.

I've bought three gaming computers in the last 10+ years, and not one of them has cost $5,000. They're actually a lot cheaper now because they're more common. My first one was $3,000 and that was when gaming computers were first becoming a thing. Now days, it's a gaming computer or a bare minimum computer. So $5,000 for a gaming computer is absolutely unreasonable. And the fact that he expects YOU to buy/build it for HIM when he won't get off his lazy gamer ass and get a job is even more unsettling. I think you better re-evaluate this relationship.
