Get on with it

Today, my baby-crazy mother expressed her concerns that I haven't conceived after a whole two months of marriage. Her advice amounted to "get divorced while you're still hot, sleep around until you get pregnant, then marry the winner." When I complained to my father, he supported her. FML

at least they didn't get you Norplant for your wedding gift like my parents wanted to.

Wait, your parents wanted to buy you a very expensive form of birth control that is super effective? O_O Do your parents want to adopt? Because if they do, I'm so in :D

Op, I'm assuming it goes deeper than your pregnancy.. Your parents probably dislike your husband and are picking out any flaws and magnifying them.. That solution is just not reasonable if they just want a grand child therefore there had to be something more...

Definitely put that off for a while. It's nice she wants a grandbaby so much, it means she'll probably help out a lot if you need it. At the same time though, it gets SO annoying when people constantly badger you about seeing your baby. It's whatever you want though. Good luck, OP.

haha looks like they're eager of grandkids.

Your mom sounds like a very selfish person. She is putting her desire of having grandkids over your happiness. Talk about a loser mom. I hope you don't follow your mom's example if you and your husband decide to have children. Congrats on getting married!

As long as you're not ignorant, it doesn't take extra time to put in punctuation for things on an iPod or iPhone. How do you think I'm posting this comment?
