Today, my boyfriend broke up with me, because apparently I need to "grow up". He's the one who excessively plays Call of Duty and still has Pokémon and Bionicles in his room. FML

Yep, you definately need to grow up. There's nothing wrong with playing video games and having 'collectables' (aka Toys) as long as they don't take over your life. Your childish reaction to this breakup shows me that you need to grow up regardless if he does or not.

#14 Knows what he's talking about If you watched Pokemon as a kid it will always remain "the shit", doesn't matter how old you get. Also you're probably more immature for bitching about it and referring his hobbies in order to reason it out for yourself. Just because he plays video games, that doesn't mean he's a child. I know of adults who still play video games. I'm a teenage girl and still have the occasional neopet and pooh bear plushie in my room. The fact that you're complaining about this on FML shows that you could use a bit of growing up to do yourself.

im amazed at the number of defenses for games on here. people who play games and make rude comments on a site surely arent childish. p.s. this is a site for whining about the little things in life. when you guys get time, find the pause button for you games you stole from little kiddies and you can read the page on this site explaining that.

Your comment is null and void. Fact of the matter is that video games have essentially become a part of life for many generations. Maturity levels have nothing to do with it anymore. I'm in college and work a full time job and still collect Pokemon cards and play video games.

Muahaha, you can tell who the guys are and who the girls are by looking at the general statement in their posts all the guys say "It's not childish" and all the girls say "YEAH **** THAT ASSHOLE!!!" seriously, I know girls who are faaaar older then me who have a bed COVERED in bloody unicorns, I think I'll take my video games and my toys over that, as long as he didn't ditch you to play games then I think you're just being a tad bitchy
