Today, both my car and my father's car were broken into. They stole my radio, purse, wallet, camera, and multiple items of clothing. What did they take from my dad's car? Some screwdrivers to help rip my radio out of my dashboard. FML

Today, I was pointing out my car to my roommate. He responded with, "Oh that one with the broken window?" Turns out my car had been broken into. They took my CD player, GPS and Ipod. On top of that they left a Reese's Fastbreak wrapper and sunflower seeds on my front seat. FML

Today, I went to my car to get a few things, when I discovered it had been broken into. Nothing of value was taken. My window was busted in just for a pack of cigarettes, a lighter, and my car's ashtray. FML

Today, I was volunteering at a soup kitchen and was advised to leave my wallet and cell phone in my car so they wouldn’t be stolen. Someone broke into my car and stole them. FML

Today, I found my car had been robbed. The thieves stole my GPS, my iPod and my digital camera. While I was filing the police report, the officer recommended I take photos for insurance purposes. Then she remembered my camera had been stolen. She actually started laughing. FML

Today, my car got broken into. A small folded plastic bag and a few toothpicks I got from a restaurant were stolen. It's going to cost me a few hundred bucks to fix and clean my car over a 10 cent bag and a few free toothpicks. FML

That stuff (apart from the radio) should not have been left in your car. Even if you had to leave them, they shouldn't have been visible (they should be in the trunk at least). I can't say YD to be robbed, but you helped them pick your car over others.

I have absolutely no sympathy for idiots who leave stuff like that in their cars. Especially if they're left in plain view...and I don't care if it was in front of your own home. Thieves don't give a crap either....There's not a damn thing in my truck for anyone to steal and I always keep it that way. In this day and age you HAVE to use common sense. Unfortunately, I think most of the world is lacking big time in that area.

Find out if the robber was homeless before you do anything. The people on FML taught me that if you're homeless, it's fine to steal! He just needed that money for food!
