Hangry time

Today, I went to the dentist to have a tooth pulled. The day before, I was too anxious to eat anything, so I went in with an empty stomach. There were complications during the extraction and now I'm not allowed to eat for the next 24 hours. FML

FYI friend. I know how much it sucks to not eat for a day. I had a contest with two friends once where the one who went the longest without eating would win a free buffett meal from the losers (originally the losers would be forced to watch the winner eat without getting any food themselves, but we decided that was too ****** up). I weigh 135 pounds and am 5 feet 10 inches. Friend 1 is 6 foot 1 and weighs 240. Friend 2 is 5 foot 11 and weighs 305. Also, I have the metabolism of an incinerator and am used to eating 2 average meals with 3 small snacks a day. I thought I could win by sheer willpower. I think you guys see where this is going. We started at exactly midnight, then slept for 7 hours. I lasted all of 20 hours before giving up. I was so hungry that I had a headache and couldn't keep my balance very well. As we were only allowed to drink water, I also had a killer electrolyte imbalance due to subconsciously drinking excess water to cover my symptoms. My 5 foot 11 bud gave up 1 hour later. After we went to the buffett I ate 6 plates of food. Each plate was about 12 inches in diameter. One of my best meals ever. 2 more plates and I would have eaten as much as both my friends combined! Point of the story: to show how the OP's life is VERY ******. And also hopefully to entertain a few people. PS. My friend's dumb 8 year old brother joined the bet without us knowing and also got ill. He went to the buffett with us and ate literally 3 bites before getting full. He paid 11 bucks for that meal.

so? this isn't an fml. try getting your tonsils out you won't wanna eat for a week.. I know from experience. on the bright side I lost 15 lbs
