OP's winning, she got a shitload of pussy while drunk

I think you used the wrong and very obvious word.

Well cats are too bad better than pitbulls or snakes and especially spiders

What's wrong with Pitballs, they're great dogs.

#25 maybe but would you wanna wake up hungover to find you had adopted seven pit bulls?

My friend owns 3 pitbulls and I can tell you they're very loving. They're only aggressive if you teach them to be aggressive.

I know I wouldn't want to adopt a pitball.

#41 Sorry but as with any animal, genetics plays a HUGE part. It's not JUST how you raise an animal.

Pitbulls are actually naturally very defensive and territorial. A lot of larger dogs are, like German Shepards and pitbulls. Sure, you can train them to be more calm, but their natural aggressive instinct is still very strong. The breed does have something to do with it, just because a dog has a loving owner doesn't mean the dog won't bite you. Still, not all pits are bad, but they aren't all good either.

And put bulls are the most caring and most protective... that's why when taught to be aggressive they can be extremely dangerous. but raise them right they're like marshmallows. Genetics are key.

I had a pit and he was the biggest softie ever. Only thing he didn't like was other animals. His whole 80lbs slept in bed with me and my fiancé and cuddled up to us at night. Every once in a while, he would sleep while literally hugging me. Don't try to tell me that pits are bad.

and I had a friend who raised her pit bull to be a well behaved dog, didn't stop her trying to bite my face off, sorry but I don't trust pit bulls, especially when so many attacks seem to get the "I don't understand, he was such a good dog, he just suddenly snapped"

My friend Shannon has a pitbull. Zero is such a softie! When her seventeen year old dog, Lily tried to attack her for stealing her toy (she was new and didn't know any better) she let Lily win and didn't put up a fight. She was actually scared of her, and Lily was half her size AND elderly! Also, my neighbor across the street has a cockapoo that has attacked me and gone after me and several other neighbors countless times. But you think pitbulls are dangerous?!

Any dog can be aggressive. But pits have been bred for aggression. That's why genetics is so important. If ANY animal has unstable parents, the chances of the offspring being unstable/aggressive/etc is very high. Any animal can be unpredictable. But pits can be great if they come from a good breeder who knows their lines. Genetics does matter, as does how you raise them.

the point that it would be worse to randomly have 7 pitbulls (or any dog really) than 7 cats, since cats are smaller and easier to handle... teaching all 7 pitbulls dog manners?

Let me state a few things prior to getting to the actual point. When you say "Pit Bull" what are you referring to? That is a term used for several different breeds..although there is a "Pit Bull Terrier" which a lot of people seem to refer to as a "large" dog. A pit bull terrier is borderline large, and I would consider them a medium sized dog. When I say "Pit Bull Terrier" I do not refer to what breeders have turned them into. Any dog can bite. If you do not educate yourself on dog behavior or the breed(s). You HAVE to read their body language. I'm sorry, I don't believe a dog is naturally aggressive (for NO reason). They have a past that has affected them. So let me explain to you why pits get bad names..besides the obvious "dog fighting". It is because of backyard breeders and bad owners that do not socialize or train their dogs. They also do not care for them properly or dump them off somewhere. Pit Bulls are commonly neglected or abused and due to that..they are more likely to bite. Funny thing about it is, SMALL dogs are actually the more aggressive and protective. I work with dogs every day of my life, and I see just about every breed and mix. NOTHING HAS TO DO WITH THE BREED ITSELF. A dog may not remember it's past but due to their past they may have issues with strangers, kids, dogs, cages, car rides, etc. Yes my post is extremely long, does it need to be? Probably not. I'm tired of people pretending they know about dogs, I'm actually in school for dog behavior and no I don't think I know it all but I know a lot about certain breeds. Please educate yourself on dogs.

I hope you name them after the 7 dwarfs. Too good of on opportunity to pass up. Did a friend take you to the animal shelter or you took a cab? How did you get home with 7 cats?. Seriously, 7 cats is a big responsibility if you can't take care make sure they get good homes.

The cats probably had good homes to start with. Sounds like OP gets drunk and goes out collecting cats :-/

titandesu 14

noooo because she adopted them not picked them off the street and claimed them as her own

And all the "pussy" comments come rolling in....

Well as long as you've got the time & the patience to take care of said cats (& actually like cats) I fail to see the FML, kitties are great. On the other hand, if you aren't kitty-positive I'm sure you can find more suitable homes for them in your sober state. :)
