Today, I was taking a shower for the first time in my new apartment. The shower head broke off the wall and slammed onto my head, while spraying water everywhere. I tried to stop the water, but only stopped the cold and got burnt by the hot. FML

Today, after having a pretty rough day, I decided a nice, hot shower would be great. Ten minutes in, the shower head apparently couldn't take the water pressure anymore, and it flew off and hit me in the face. FML

Today, as I showered, I sneezed, hit my face on the wall, got shampoo in my eyes, slipped on a bar of soap, bashed my head on the wall as I fell, grabbed at the walls to stop me from falling and happened to turn off the cold water, scorching me. FML

Today, I was taking a warm shower when someone in my house flushed the toilet, making the shower extremely hot. In my rush to get out so I wouldn't get burned, I slipped and knocked a tooth out. FML

Today, while showering, I finished off the shampoo bottle. I decided to see if I could shoot it into the trash can over the shower curtain. When I heard the successful "thunk", I got so excited I slipped and cracked my head open. FML

Today, my dad went to a hardware store to replace the broken shower head in my bathroom. He got the cheapest shower head he could find, and so when I took a shower, the shower head burst out and hit me square in the face. FML

Today, I was in pain due to overdoing it at the gym yesterday, so I thought a hot shower might help. Not only was there no hot water because of my sister's hour long showers, but I slipped getting out and hit my head. Now the pain is worse. FML

Today, while showering I slipped and fell, taking down the shower curtain and smashing my head against the floor, resulting in a concussion. My family came running because of the noise and I lay naked, bleeding and concussed for few minutes before they could stop laughing enough to get me help. FML

Today, while in the shower, I heard my phone buzz. Expecting an important text, I leaned out to check it. I slipped, hit my head on the sink, and ended up stuck in the most awkward position possible with one leg in the shower and the other out. My roommate had to rescue me. FML

OMG! We have a rain shower head, that's attached to the ceiling, and it fell off and broke my toe! ... Now that I think about it that would be a good "FML."

Oh my goodness this speaks to me on an emotional level. My landlords are complete morons in this complex I live in. The water pipes in my walls are very old and seriously need replacing. When I was getting ready to take a shower I turned on the bathtub faucet only to have the handle shoot off across the shower and spray hot water all over me. I was stark naked and had to wrap a towel around me and go into my building hallway to shut off the main water for my unit just to get it to stop. My entire bathroom was flooded which then started leaking into the unit bathroom under me. When I moved into a new downstairs unit in another building, their bathroom apparently flooded too, because water started dripping ON MY HEAD from a light socket above me. Apparently their solution for this was to start charging everyone a water fee rather than going around fixing all of the leaking water pipes. These people are so inexperienced with maintenance and remodeling that it should be a crime. I've fixed pretty much everything wrong in my unit.
