I think you can get your lawn painted with eco friendly paint.I have heard lots of people are doing it especially because of the drought.

I live in California where the drought is and I remember everyone getting a letter from their water company saying what days of the week we are allowed to use our hose to water our plants. Mine is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

pour bleach or antifreeze on your neighbors lawns. then there grass is dead, your grass is dead, and the hoa cant bitch. all the lawns look the same

Water your lawn. When the fine from the city comes, forward it to you HOA for payment! I don't advocate suing , usually, but this is one caae where I would love to see a Judge get involved. Good luck OP!
