How dare you?

By hdkgdkvdjd - This FML is from back in 2011 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I bought cupcakes from a bakery by my work. I took them home, at which point my mother screamed at me because she's on a diet. Hours later I found the whole box empty. Great self-control, mom. FML

I believe the correct term would be SEEfood diet.

You should know better than to leave a box of doughnuts in front of a woman who's on a stressful diet. YDI.

its not the op fault,he shouldnt have to hide it.his mother need SELF CONTROL.I change my eating habits, but my friends and family still eat lots of junk.its not my right to make them hide their food around me.if it upset you to see someone else eating junk food, then you got issue with food and making people hid it isnt the answer.

Great, then you can pay for the therapy which, I suppose, is the answer.

You're not very supportive! When someone is trying to quit smoking or drinking do you smoke and drink in front of them. Or leave smokes and booze on the counter????? NO!

1 mom is NOT on a diet. 2 you need to move out ... before buying more cupcakes.

Be prepared for a major sugar rush.

Bringing cupcakes into the home of a woman on a diet is like bringing crack into the home of a crack addict. Just sayin'. How about you eat a cupcake at the bakery next time, or at least try to hide those baked goods better?

I'm split on this one. Yes, she has terrible self control, but yes, it's kind of your fault for bringing cupcakes when you knew she was dieting in the first place.

Maybe it wasn't her, but the elves.
