How dare you?

By hdkgdkvdjd - This FML is from back in 2011 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I bought cupcakes from a bakery by my work. I took them home, at which point my mother screamed at me because she's on a diet. Hours later I found the whole box empty. Great self-control, mom. FML

I believe the correct term would be SEEfood diet.

If you still live with her, you do why she says. You can do whatever you want when you move out.

Seiously I would love to be able to bake and i would take the sorrowfully remains of my labour and go visit kids in hospital of our old persons care home. They get so lonely

The bakery I work at donates the leftovers (we always have lots) to homeless people. It's really lovely. :)

Pretty poor excuse from your mom, but I can kinda see how someone just leaving loads of cupcakes around could be an irritating temptation to resist if they weren't left lying around anyway.

More like F her life because of lack of self control

It's exactly like that at my house. My dad'll eat my desserts all the time and then blame me for his lack of self control, and then wonder why he doesn't lose weight. I'd reccomend hiding the cupcakes somewhere where she won't find it next time. She has nobody to blame but herself. If she can't resist a stupid cupcake...

What kind of kid brings Home pastries to a person on a diet?

hey sassylilsarah: The SCIENTIFIC PERCENTAGE (%) OF WOMEN WHO HAVE A THYROID PROBLEM OR ANY OTHER MEDICAL CONDITION THAT MAKES IT NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO LOSE WEIGHT: LESS THAN .5%. SO LESS THAN 1 IN 200 WOMEN. SO LESS THAN 1 IN 80 OBESE WOMEN. SHUTTTT THEEE F*CKKKK UPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP ENABLING LOSERS TO CONTINUE THEIR WAYS. MY GOD.

Well they were sitting right there. It's like having a pile of bacon in front of your face.. aye why not!

Well...you did bring the temptation to her...but not an fml just because you didn't get a cupcake.
