I'm happy for you, but…

Today, my band informed me that our gig this afternoon was actually a wedding. Whose wedding? My ex-wife's, along with the guy she cheated on me with. For their first dance, I had to sing what used to be our song. FML

You should have ended it with "**** you, and goodnight".

After the song, you should tell everybody what she did

Why would she even hire your band? You're a way better person than I.

^This guy knows what he's talking about.

Can I make a request? Puddle of mud "she ****** hates me"

Wow, you escaped getting married to a spiteful bitch. Her cheating heart will pine someday, and crave the love she threw away...

Escaped a marriage, I should say.

Sucks OP, but karma will get them sooner or later. She'll probably cheat on him too, or even better if he cheats on her.

I think he OP should've gone Adam Sandler style in the wedding singer love stinks

The only justification I can think of is that he could have refused to play. And certainly refused to sing their old song. And I would have quit the band as well. He doesn't need those ******* in his life.

Because usually before you accept a gig and before you start practicing, you usually ask who and what it's for. OP should have known. Why didn't he ask as soon as his band mates accepted the job? Why didn't he accept the job with them? Why did he wait until the day of the wedding to find out?

oh. fair enough. I appreciate a straight forward answer for once. thank you.
