Today, while lifeguarding, I received six prank phone calls on the official pool phone. When it rang again, I picked it up, told them to go fuck themselves, hung up, and then left the phone off the hook. A second later, my cellphone rang. It was my boss, telling me to get a sense of humor. FML

Today, I thought it would be funny to prank call my job on my day off. I star 69’ed the numbers and prank called my coworkers. However, when I got to my boss, he knew who I was, and threatened to report me to the police. I’d forgotten to star 69. Safe to say, I was fired on my day off. FML

Today, my boss rang me for the 5th time on my day off. Frustrated I pushed 'ignore' and yelled a string of obscenities at my phone. Turns out I pushed 'talk'. FML

Today, while at work as a telemarketer, I called a customer on his home phone. Once I was connected, an automated voice said, "To speak with a customer, please press 1." Confused, I pressed one. I then heard loud laughter followed by, "Oh my god! What a dumbass!" before they hung up. FML

Today, I was at the pool with two boys I babysit. The eldest wouldn't get out of the pool so I pretended to call his dad. He then ran out of the pool, pushed me down, grabbed my phone, chucked it into the pool and then ran back into the pool. FML

Today, while taking part in a lifeguarding exercise, I was supposed to "drown" to get another guard to save me. After all was done, my boss called me into his office and screamed at me for "drowning the wrong way," and threatening our reputation. FML

Is it just me, or does it seem a tad dangerous to be pranking a lifeguard? I would think that they should have their full attention on the lives they are guarding.

I'm with you, Glam, I generally think all people are fair game for pranks with very few exceptions. Lifeguards are one of those exceptions. Ha-ha, the girl pretends to be drowning so the big, handsome muscular lifeguard can "save" her, ha-ha-ha. Oh, no, not again, that trick is not going to work again, ha-ha-ha-ha, OOPS.

Well, the way she handled it, wasn't so great, but as has been said previously, why would anyone repeatedly prank a lifeguard drawing her away from a situation that needs constant attention? Her boss is the dumb bitch, not her.
