Improvise, adapt, overcome

By SomePeoplesKids - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - Canada - Okotoks

Today, I walked in on my daughter attempting to iron her pants with a hair straightener. She's 17. FML

Rather clever idea actually.

I do that all the time, it's great for shirt collars and around buttons!

It actually works the same way as an iron just faster

What's wrong with that? Lol lots of people use clothes irons to straighten their hair too in a hurry. Kinda exactly the same concept.

It could have worse.Atleast she didn't attempt to straighten her hair with a clothes iron.

It's sometimes easier if you're trying to get a single crease. When I was in cadets we did it all the time at camp when there were a limited number of irons.

At least you didn't walk in on her pleasuring herself with the curling iron...giggity..

Sounds like something on 1000 ways to die.

Sounds like my daughter, also 17. Makes you wonder, where did we go wrong? Lol

I've had to do this before...it works!

I don't really see the problem, it would be different if she was younger but she's seventeen, it's a good idea too.
