Today, I was training for my new job at a restaurant. As part of training, they give you free food so you know what to recommend, and the dish I got was really good. Eight hours later I saw it again while I was puking. I got food poisoning from my own workplace. FML

I hope you're not stupid enough to actually believe that... Food poisoning can affect you up to a few days after eating contaminated food. There's no set amount of time.

No, she's right. It only takes 30 minutes to an hour to take effect. This wasn't FP, but probably an unfortunately timed GI bug. I'm a nurse, so I think I would be informed on this subject matter.

it can take up to ten days. it all depends on the type of bacteria. an hour is for staph, the other kind is up to ten days.

#14... it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for food poisoning to affect people. learn your facts before trying to correct others.
