In and out

Today, I was training for my new job at a restaurant. As part of training, they give you free food so you know what to recommend, and the dish I got was really good. Eight hours later I saw it again while I was puking. I got food poisoning from my own workplace. FML

No no you're looking at this all wrong. Now you know exactly what to recommend to that asshole obnoxious customer...

Time to find a new job. You'd get fired anyway. "What do you recommend?" You: "Nothing! This place sucks!!! Run while you still can!!!"

29 Comments before me; I just searched the page for the word: "Sue/sue" Not one result. Am I spelling it right? Sue! Sue! Sue! Good luck OP.

How could this be her fault? Out of the two options, she definitely did not deserve it. It's not like she asked them to give her rotten food. Some people are assholes.

it takes twelve hours for you to get food poisoning....just sayin'.

No it doesn't. It can take only a couple hours. There's no set amount of time. Food poisoning doesn't follow ******* rules, it's not like: "Oh, I can't infect this person yet because it hasn't been 12 hours!!!!!"

I would have been out of there faster than a poser in Brooklyn. Quit, report them, and give the restaurant bad reviews.

Did you recomend it to anyone?

Get out of there now! And let the health authorities know! I've worked in restaurants for years, and that's not okay at all!

I have heard and I may be wrong, but that the effects of food poisoning occur within 15 to 20 minutes after eating said food. Maybe it wasn't your job? Still sucks however.
