There's nothing wrong with her getting a gift from her guy friend, but a heart shaped necklace is not an appropriate gift to be giving her if she is in a committed relationship. I would feel uncomfortable as well if my boyfriend were given a heart shaped gift from another girl and I am not a jealous girlfriend nor do I mistrust him. I have never known a guy to get a girl heart shaped jewelry unless he has feelings of some kind.
