if hes still with her, hes not just with her for sex. it maybe what his reasoning for actually going up and asking her out, but something else kept him with her too. they might have the perfect relationship.

Honestly the reason people approach someone and why they stay with them could very well be two different reasons. I don't think you should break up with him for that reasoning. He's still with you so obviously he's not using you for anal or sex at all. He obviously likes you for you, or else he wouldn't just stay with someone just because he believes they might like something. I wouldn't worry about it, OP.
