I guess I'm concerned about why the would do that. I love a good prank.. If someone is on vacation, late, got promoted.. Etc.. But because an important client was coming? Do you work with middle schoolers.

how is it an YDI if he knew? He said it he found out moments before his client came in. Maybe he was in the restroom or down the hall doing something and came back in and his office was covered in them and didnt have time to fix it because his client came in.

I agree, that's pretty suckish. However, you could probably pass it off as a good sense of humor (on their part), thus getting yourself out of trouble and hopefully relating to the client's funny side.
