It's not what you think

Today, I was shopping with a friend. We snuck into the same fitting room so we could give our opinions on each other's clothes. The suspicious saleswoman knocked on the door and asked how many people were in our room. I quickly answered, "It's OK. She's just watching." FML

I can't help but wonder why she cares that there's more than one person. Do two people shoplift better than one?

That awkward moment when the saleswoman asks, "can I watch too?".

Is this a chick thing, because I don't get it?

You don't get which part? 1) Why she is in the fitting room with her? Or 2) Her response saying "it's okay she's just watching" Because yes, trying on clothes and being in the same fitting room is a "chick thing" Buuut...understanding what the saleswoman may have thought by her response (even though she meant it in a totally different context) is not a chick thing. Though by your comment of not understanding proves it takes a brain to "get it"...

right there with you, why would you wanna be jammed in a changing room with someone, assuming of course her "friend" was just watching.

^thats why you use the large one reserved for handicap

I think it's just a girl thing, I've never seen or heard of 2 guys sharing a fitting room, unless they're gay, then they might

So then if a handicap person needs to use it they have to wait because some inconsiderate and immature teenagers can watch each other try on clothes? Not right at all.

Teenagers? I've seen grown woman sharing fitting rooms. ._. I think it's weird. But I don't like fitting rooms in general.

Guys generally don't ask what other guys think of their clothes. Girls do.

Girls really don't care about seeing each other naked.

I always share dressing rooms and have no problems..maybe you were being loud or something.

#28 - You're stupid. You make it sound like you were there. Maybe they WERE being loud, you never know.

33-you're a ****, and you also "make it sound like you were there." department stores do not always allow two people in the same room, they could have been too loud, the sales person could have thought they were stealing merchandise.

It's normal for girls to get changed in front of each other without thinking anything of it haha. But not in change rooms haha

Ooo that sucks. Better than what happened to me though. She didn't just come and ask, she brought a big mean security guard who kicked my friend out :/ talk about EMBARSSING! Lol

Wow how rude, I wouldn't think twice about this. It is pretty normal to do that here, particulary when it is busy. It is also so your friend can help you if you get stuck

How can you get stuck? Shouldn't they have figured out what size they are if they are buying their own clothes?

32- Are you kidding me? Seriously? Change rooms (aka fitting rooms) are there for two reasons, the main one being to make sure the clothing fits properly! Different stores and different brands tend to vary with their sizes. You can definitely tell you're a guy, sheesh.

I now want to go to changing room doors and knock on them, then ask random questions to the people Inside. *knock knock* "what's the square root of pie?"

I work in a clothing store and we always have girls come in and say hey can we use the same fitting room or they just do it. We don't say anything. Who cares? If they want to get changed in front of each other it's none of my business

We're you being loud or something for her to ask how many people were in there?

Yeah, the sales lady deserved that. I used to work retail, and you had to police people bc they would try lots of things in a fitting room, including having sex.

OP obviously forgot to mention that her friend was a man.
