It wasn't me

Today, I was in the shower, oblivious to the outside world, when four police officers who had apparently been banging at my door, entered by force. They were doing a bust on a weed farm and got the wrong house. FML

Good thing they didn't find your weed stash

I'm sure OP had smoke coming out of there ears due to anger. Or probably wanted to break a pot over someone's head while being very blunt about how angry they are.

This type of shit is getting more common. Cops itching to use their military gear and weapons. You are lucky your pets were not killed in the process. Which happens.

Very true, I remember reading on a couple cases of just that in the past of cops hitting the wrong house & "accidentally" killing the pets in the process. That would be their worst mistake they'd ever make harming my pup I tell you that much....

Oh yes, indeed. Those darn cops...probably so trigger happy that they decided, "ah, screw it, so what if this probably isnt the right house? lets break in and claim drugs bust."

Google it...a shit ton of articles pop up about "wrong house raids" One in my hometown: cop put 4 bullets into a 3lb chihuahua cause it "growled at him."

Wow...no **** it growled at him! He just broke into its house! How the hell are dogs supposed to know that the police are excempt from the rules?

Good thing you got high before your shower, right OP? Now you get to be stoned and naked with a house full of jack booted thugs! Way more exciting than the evening you had planned, I'll bet.

If they'd known you were taking a shower, they'd have brought the entire swat team!

This is why I have no faith in most law enforcement.

because they are human and occasionally make errors? Yes that should have made certain they had the right house, but errors do occur.

I fully agree that hey, mistakes happen. But damn, you'd figure if they were trying to make a large bust they'd at least have staked the place out some, that's a pretty substantial mistake on their part, now by the time they figure out the right address & go through all the warrants etc one would think the right house will more than likely be tipped off by that point

Are you sure they weren't strippers?
