This sounds like another one i read "today i heard a little girl ask her dad 'daddy why does that man have blue hair' his response 'drugs make people do strange things honey'FML"
LMAOOOOOOOOOO THATS REALLY FUNNY. I LAUGHED, HARD. when I had my nose peirced my father told me I'd never get a job.
She probably just said that so that her own daughter wouldn't get one.
I live ina super conservative family, my dad won't even let me watch LA Ink. But when I'm old enough I'm getting more ear piercings, a nose piercing, at least one tattoo, and I'm going to dye my hair funky colours. How do you like them apples, Daddy?!
247, I totally agree with you. I kind of live in a family like that too. I can get ear piercings (i'm a guy) this summer, but my family thinks tattoos are really bad and should never get 1 and they also think dyeing ur hair would be a very bad idea. when im outta the house, imma get a bunch of piercings (chin, more of ears, tongue, eyebrow), tattoos, and im either gonna grow my hair out really long like death metal bands or punk it up with short and hair dye.
So, in a few years this girl will be a teenager and feel angsty as teenagers do and get her nose pierced because she's under the impression that it's only done when parent's don't love their kids. She'll come home and scare the pants off her mom, and thus bring the karma back to dumbass ignorant mom who is too prejudiced to make a moment like that a learning experience for her child instead of a family counselling disaster waiting to happen. OP, love your piercings, it's your body and no one can tell you what to do about it.
