To be fair, having a diagnosis does not automatically mean you know the information about said thing. I have depression, and there are still parts of it I don't understand, despite having dealt with it for years. That said, it's not her place to tell you off. She sounds like the type who has to feel like they're better or smarter than everyone else. Ignore her bullshit. She isn't worth the energy to argue with or prove anything to.
The social justice regime strikes again
That's like saying you automatically know everything about cancer when you get diagnosed with it. YDI for your reasoning, even if said "****" was, well a ****, it doesn't mean you didn't deserve it.
... and just where did the OP say he knew everything single thing about the disorder simply by having it? this comment is based on a whole lot of assumptions based on a small amount of information displayed here. first off, there is no mention as to how long he has known about his disorder, so for all you know he could have gotten his answers 5 years back and during that time doing their research and meeting others like him. and even IF he was educating based on his experiences after getting diagnosed last week, the disorder has existed since birth so it's not as if he suddenly contracted it and poof he's working on say a month's worth of experiences. so no, it's NOT the same as saying they know everything about cancer after being diagnosed with it; what it is, is saying they do at least have SOME knowledge of the disorder based on the fact that they've been dealing with it for longer than they can remember, and there is no excuse whatsoever for someone to invalidate that.
Please tell me you said that to that ****.
As an autistic myself, put that cuntflap in his place for me.
Are you in class with my sister-in-law? Sounds just like her.
I'm on the spectrum of autism so I feel you
Okay, your classmate is both rude and ignorant. I'm in higher end of the Asperger's section of the scale, and all my friends are all in regions on the scale that alter how they function. The fact it is called Autism Spectrum Disorder literally means that there are different levels of autism. So person a who has a higher score than person b experiences autism differently on account of that alone. Add in that no two humans experience the same situation in the same way, and your classmate just sounds like a brat. Even if they are autistic themselves and that is why they became upset.
Omg .. that is not cool ! just ignore her becuz obvioisly she doesn't know what she's talking about I have an autistic cousin !

Ignore people like that, they love starting fights. If he does it again, say, how would you describe it? And when he's completely off. Correct him on everything :D
