Death certificates,and lawyer threats will clear all records
Why not show him their death certificates? And sue him for work loss
Take every bit of proof you can to the HR. Like the announcements they hand at the funerals, so they know you went, and when you can get it the copy of the death certificates. Unless you are one of those people who call in all the time your boss has no right to make assumption. Now make an ass out of him.
