Love is…

Today, I was ecstatic after spending the night with my longtime crush, when he told me he felt something. I poured my heart and soul out to him, confessing my love for him too. Unfortunately, he was referring to a lump in my left breast, which I now need to get checked out. FML

NVM. This was a re-post of a comment that disappeared, but has now resurfaced.

she's lump. she's lump. she's lump. she's in my head.

Awww. I feel bad for you. Can't feel the least bit good to pour your guts out and get nowhere near a mutual response. As for the lump, get checked out, but don't worry too much. they come and go, but aren't always cancer.

At least SOMEONE found it and now you can go get it examined. You should be self-checking regularly. Now you know. Hope it all turns out ok.

op, you should get it examined, but it is HIGHLY improbable (not impossible) that it is cancer if you are a teenager/young adult. i wouldn't worry too much about it. i had a breast biopsy as a teen and that's what i was told... 99% of the time it's benign. you just need to watch it to make sure that it doesn't change

it sounds like your first date so it was stupid to say all that if it was. if it wasn't your first date then that totally sucks

Sounds to me like you're more concerned that he didn't have feelings for you, not so much the lump as that's how your post sounds. In that respect, YDI for thinking hopping in bed with someone you're not even dating is going to make him fall in love with you. In terms of the boob lump, FYL.
