Today, I've had chairs thrown at me, kicks have hit me in the nuts and I've heard "I'm gonna fucking kill you, bitch" several times. I work at a kindergarten. And this is a good day compared to what I'm used to. FML

Maybe they work with special ed kids, my mom is a kindergarden special ed teacher and I went into her class and came out being hit in the head with 8 pound bowling ball... After that I realized anything is possible...

Yes! Exactly what I was thinking. OP mentions that this was a good day, which eliminates regular classes because this level of chaos wouldn't happen daily even in an urban school setting. My mom also taught kindergarten with a bilingual extension, so I definitely know where you're coming from.

Yeah! Because my moms idea of a good day is not being bit haha. She has to be super careful. Though the kids she works with cant talk so I don't know... but maybe the kids this OP is working with isn't nonverbal they are just challenged in some way...
