It's guys like you whom I hate. The guys who aren't man enough to ask a girl out, so instead they lurk in the shadows telling the girls whom are their friends, and would never consider dating them, that their boyfriends aren't good enough for them, and don't treat them right. They think by tearing down every other guy in the world she will fall for them. NEWSFLASH: Once you're friends you will NEVER date. Grow a pair and ask a girl out. Before you go over the friendship hump. All you're doing now is being her emotional tampon. You will be much happier once you actually have a GIRLFRIEND, not just friends who are girls.

I think "the boyfriend type" mean "the type with testosterone overloads", which means "the dickheads who look hot but treat me like trash" which are "the type I would never bother to settle down with" which means you've still got a chance, right? :) Well, if you want it. If you're not looking for a relationship with her, then she might mean "you're a good friend, not someone I see in a romantic light; I'm sure there are girls who will appreciate you".
