Lying liars

By FuckMcDonalds - 30/05/2018 20:30

Today, while working at McDonald's, I was pulled into the manager's office and informed that I'd been caught stealing money from the safe. When I told them to show me the security footage, they refused and fired me on the spot. FML

I think you can take legal action on this.

Even in an at-will state, claiming theft as a reason without proof still constitutes unlawful termination, as well as fraud.

this is gonna be the easiest 5 million plus you will make in your life in court

OK it's not an FML if you can actively do something about it. This is obviously illegal, get off FML and DO something. Also, FAKE

Sounds to me like you have the potential to make millions....how will you play this hand?

Easy Peasy, the manager covered his theft. Take it up the corporate ladder. You did want to be manager?

You should get a lawyer and sue. How can they claim you were stealing and refuse to show the footage?

Legal action, indeed. Also if that's how they treat staff, not worth working there anyways.

Sounds like the work environment is as crappy as the food.

I would have simply called the police. Call their bluff.

honestly the same thing happened to me. But they said it was out of the register.

they can't do that. They have to provide proof if they have accused you of a felony
