Idiotic anti-smokers aside, it's generally not recommended to smoke around children. Particularly in closed spaces such as the car. Also, where I'm from smoking whilst driving is illegal. There's something about someone using their driving hand to hold the cig that might have to do with it.

I am a smoker, I smoke in my car (I have no children) I'm not breaking any laws in doing that, unless I ash or throw my smoke out the window. my hand is never off the wheel for longer then 3 seconds. it actually takes me longer to change gears then drag my smoke (I don't do both at the same time) lol

too bad second hand smoke has never been proven and plenty of people have smoked their entire lives and never got lung cancer or emphysema. The only reason ppl are against it isbecause it smells bad and they don't like being around the odor. Can't say I blame them but let's be honest here

Read a legitimate scientific study and you will find second hand smoke does cause health issues, especially in children. Also take an English class, saying got instead of gotten makes you sound ignorant.
