Maybe he prefers someone who doesn't need two hours of painting to look presentable. Just saying.
Oh, cool, just kick the poor girl while she's down. Don't demean her because she wanted to look good for her boyfriend. Makeup does nothing but accentuate the already beautiful features. Some girls don't care for it, some women want a lot of it. Time varies and it's not always easy to apply. Just saying.
How much foundation do you use? P.S. That's when you should have went out to the club, with some friends...
So apparently, a guy's a jerk if he doesn't have feelings for you and will go out of his way to travel to you and end things in person. But you're perfect and DESERVE someone better. Keep it classy ladies.
You sound like a jilted lover.
No, #41 sounds like someone tired of all the double standards.
Well one could say that any decent person being dumped deserves better, in the sense that they deserve to be with someone who loves them, and not necessarily meaning that the person they were with before was a douche. That's how I mean it when I comment on a breakup with certain unknown variables. But you're right that that probably isn't what most people are thinking, and it is sort of a double standard.
But the thing is that OP never said he was a jerk. She is just sad that he broke up with her which anyone could be, and the foundation is just insult to a small injury. This fml really isn't about gender, it's just about someone Beira upset that their relationship ended. Just don't twist people's words
well time to put that makeup to good use at the local club
Yes it is.
Phone a friend and head out on the town! After picking up some foundation for the next day of course. Have fun being single. He released you to find a better dude.
I know this is gonna sound bad, but at least he done it in person instead of just texting you, I still feel sorry for you though :(
So you wanted him to do it via text message or otherwise not face to face to save you on having to buy make-up? He did it the RESPECTABLE way, and you're concerned about being out of make-up? He did THE RIGHT THING!

Now is the time to go shopping for a new boyfriend and some more make up.
No problem, both are easy to replace.
