That Mom is out of control.
oh please, op. today was christmas, and instead of enjoying my presents, I spent 5 hours organizing and cleaning extensively. willingly, without anyone telling me to, because I don't like living in a messy hellhole like you apparently do. at some point, hopefully, you'll grow up and realize that cleanliness is important. I feel for her, honestly. your mother is probably expected to clean up after your nasty asses 24/7 while you do nothing. once in a while, you could do your share. earn your gifts.
Umm 5 hours, on christmas thats a,lkl extreme
Don't get the house dirty in the first place
If you didn't trash the house....I would tell her to fuckoff and have fun fighting the crowds returning the shit... and Merry Christmas!!!
I would just love it if my kid told me that. You generally have 30 to 90 days to return merchandise. I could do it on my lunch break, spend the extra money on a treat for myself (new tyres!) and the ungrateful brat would still have to clean the house while he/she was grounded for the next month. Win.
Honeatly if my kid evr said something like that ge wouldnt see the light of day for at least a montor I would return the gifts some other, day nd use theoney for a 2 week spa getaway nd we'll see how he likes the house when no one is cleaning :-)

Unless you have a 5 story mansion with tons of rooms and she wants you to clean all windows, floors, ceiling etc then it's not really that bad.
Haha, sounds like something my mom would do. She's such a perfectionist. But hey, at least you're still getting the presents! Merry Christmas!
