Mind melt

Today, I was driving home from my friend's house and noticed this really cute girl riding her bike. She had an amazing body, beautiful blonde hair, and looked like my kind of girl! About 10 minutes after I got home, my sister pulled up. She had just biked home from the hair salon. FML

The FML never actually said he wanted to bang his sister, it just said he saw a beautiful girl on a bike who seemed right for him, he got home, then his sister arrived home. If you read it carefully, there's really no connection between the arrival of his sister and the girl on the bike.

It's implied, though. If they weren't the same girl, he wouldn't have submitted the FML, tbh.

Jesus everybody in the world judges on appearance. An those who say they don't are full of shit

But not everybody judges *solely* on appearance, or puts a lot of importance on it.

I think the pleasure of making fun of Canadiens comes from the fact that it is the country closest to ours in physical/biological/cultural/religious and geographical make up. Canadians in the U.S. Aren't portrayed as living in igloos. (They save that for Alaska) They are seen as peacful (military sterotype) and a bit socialist (free health care, which I like being a sociology graduate) The fun in making fun of Canadians comes out of the fact that it seems so harmless, there are no true flaws that they posess as a people in the eyes of the U.S. Its almost like making fun of ourselves. I think it has persisted so long because Canadian Americans have not complained because they understand the true nature of the joking and U.S. Citizens possibly didn't know their jokes were hurtful because they were so silly and based in nothing but jest. I personally have never said a Canadian joke but I bet they could say a lot more crappy stuff about us that's true than we could make up about them. So to all Canadians who feel bad about this, please feel a bit better. After all, we're only stupid U.S. Citizens...

Actually, there are a lot of Canadian ass holes, tbh. You can tell by the reactions above. And we are/were just as racist as Americans, if not more so. We've got some pretty shameful history behind us: forcing Natives into the reserves, forcing the Japanese during WWII and the Ukrainians during WWI into interment camps, forcing the Chinese in British Columbia into the "Piggery" (a prison, where they would have to stay for about 6 months upon arrival in Canada), etc. We were also quite callous when accepting Jews even after WWII (we took in some couple thousand, while the UK took in ~80 000 and the US, 280 000).

bah, I'm probably off in my numbers. It's been too long since History class. XP

I'm from Canada and I honestly don't mind the Canadian jokes. In fact, I think they're hilarious. But the thing is, a lot of people are extremely ignorant about Canada, especially, those in the southern states. I saw people at the Canadian border one time wearing winter jackets, in the middle of summer. I'm guessing they were American, because, it was right at the Toronto-Buffalo border. They looked so confused, I was dying of laughter. Honestly, it's people like #7, ignorant ***** that think they're better than us, that piss me off. We live pretty much the same lifestyle. I have relatives that live in the US, I've been there many times, and other than landmarks, gun control laws (I wish Canada had same gun control laws as you guys do), drinking age (it's 19 in most of Canada, 18 in Quebec), and miltary and health care policies, Canada and the US is pretty much the same country. I don't know why some people in the US hate us.

Yeah, I'm Canadian and I find the jokes funny most of the time. It's annoying when people *seriously* think it's winter all year round and whatnot (although if you head far enough North, it's not that far from the truth either. ...the hell, my comment got truncated? Anyway yes, there are a lot of jerks here as well, just like every other country in the world.

Ahaha 113 that's pretty funny, I never looked at it that way before. And yeah Toronto rules (my hometown, even though all our sport teams are shit. At least the leafs and raptors seem to be doing something this offseason. I'm shocked!!!!! :D:P

Everyone calling OP shallow needs a quick lesson in psychology, and stop being hypocrites. If you saw a man in crummy clothes sitting next to AMPM you'd think he's homeless. You're judging. Anyways, this post sounds like the beginning of a beautiful brother sister relationship!

Jmgirl calm down, you probably do the same thing.

WTF is wrong with thinking that your sister is hot? Damn, OP never said he advanced on her on anything. I know my sister is smoking hot, but that doesn't mean I'm incestuous or anything. It's just acknowledging the fact. OP: it's no way a FML, enjoy the fact that your sis isn't ugly and be glad for her.

ok so? you saw a really hot chick and you get home and your sister was riding a bike somewhere. I don't see the connection in this horrible fml.

the girl he saw on the way home was his sister, you would honestly have to be retarted not to make that connection on your own...

guys, seriously. the whole point of this website is so that people can lighten up about something that happened in their day. this guy posted this, hoping to get a laugh or at least a smile out of someone. and instead you're all arguing about incest and racism and judgmentalism. to start with - judgmentalism. yes, everyone does it. EVERYONE. and you CAN tell some things about someone from the way they look. for example, is she wearing a flowing pink summery dress and a ribbon in her hair with a little purse hanging from her shoulder riding a pushbike with a basket on the front? or a midriff top, tight shorts riding a harley davidson? clothing, hairstyles, make-up - they're all ways to express yourself. so yeah, you can tell some things about a person just by looking at the outside. but judgmental people are the people who take this first impression and swear by it - a minority, definitely. racism. GUYS. GROW UP. people who live in canada are exactly the same as people living in america, or italy, or australia, or england. they all have families and friends, they think about politics and economics the same as we do, they might want to settle down and have a family. THEIR BRAINS FUNCTION THE SAME GENERAL WAYS - THEY'RE HUMANS AS WELL. so i suggest you keep your mouths shut untill you find something to back up your immature claims. and as for people starting fights over spelling - just get over it. someonefurther up started a fight over someone else starting a fight over spelling. and that was the whole point of their comment. guys, come on. bigger fish to fry. get worked up over child abuse or whaling or deforestation. dont get so worked up over a typo or spelling error. to the op: awh, that sucks to be you :( at least you didnt call anything out to her! cause she would've known the car.. haha! she never has to know :P thatisall.

You're right, but most of the people making judgemental or prejudice comments aren't going to read all of that. I try to see the best in everyone (and the worst in myself), but maybe that makes me naive.
