Kind of your own fault really, i mean, i can understand you getting cautious, but freaking out so much that you don't realize that you're trying to open the wrong car? really? that's a tad much. Also, let's pretend that he /was/ trying to mug-rape-kill you right? Spazzing out will only make them do it faster, just an FYI. So the lesson kiddies is to stay calm, try to not stereotype so much, and you'll be just fine. And some mace might not hurt either.
reminds me of myself- i tried in vain to get into the wrong car for five full minutes once. WHY- WON'T- THIS- DAMN- KEY- WORK!!!! I don't think you're to blame at all. Judgment is impaired when you are freaked out. Big guys can be scary. I know- I'm one of them. Most of us don't want to hurt anyone, honest.
Suddenly it's a bad thing to be cautious? This doesn't have anything to do with race - or size, really. If you're a rather defenseless woman unaccompanied in the dark and someone is creeping up behind you, that is ALWAYS a time to worry. Still though... after you pretty much looked like you were stealing his car, what was THAT conversation like, I wonder...
One of the best FML
#2 is win, she is a racist. This is why teh gubbamit needs to stop wit teh chainsaw control.
Oh my, how embarrassing. For both of you.

That will teach you that while it is good to be aware and cautious in these kind of situations judging people just on their size/features will not usually work in your favour. Epic Fail!
Ahaha, oh man that reminds me of how a young child might mistaken someone else for their mother. But yeah, must've been embarrassing, nonetheless I wouldn't call it a FML.
