Your sister would know if she was on a date with him, even if you didn't. She should've told you
Here is my thought on this matter. You went out to coffee with the guy you liked, flirted the whole time and instead of asking him out or talking to him in private, you thought it would be subtle to just call it a date and hope he agreed. While it seems like a safe way to invite the guy you like out, saying "Hey my sister and I are getting coffee wanna come?" it never is. You don't EVER want to have another girl there when you are vying for the attention of a guy you like. He might decide he likes the other girl more, which this seemed to be the case. You never know if he is agreeing to the coffee date because he likes you or because he thinks you are asking him to come in her honor. Don't be too mad at your sister, just because you have a crush on a guy does not mean you instantly have a right to him. Since he seems to like your sister, and he does not belong to you, you should be a good sister and help her get with him if she likes him. If not, tell him you thought it was a date and if he isn't interested move on.
Kids, it's not a date unless it is explicitly stated as such beforehand. YDI
