Today, I found out my friend swapped my girlfriend and probation officer's numbers in my phone. My girlfriend is wondering why I asked her permission to leave the country, and my probation officer said she can't wait to see me again. FML

Today, I found out my friend has been texting my long distance boyfriend more than I do. When I confronted her about it, she confessed that it was because they had been planning a surprise appearance for me. I've never been surprised before, and I ruined my own surprise. FML

Today, I decided to surprise my girlfriend at work. Because she was "bored and didn't feel like seeing me" she thought it would be funny to call security and claim that I was stalking her. There is now a picture of my face at her workplace, and anytime I "pester her again" the cops will show up. FML

Today, I "hacked" my girlfriend's phone and found out she's been cheating on me for the last 6 months. She's pissed at me because I hacked her phone and invaded her privacy. FML

Today, the police showed up at my door asking if I told this creepy guy stalking my girlfriend that I'll chop him up and bury each piece in a different country if he doesn't stop bothering my girl. I told them I did, along with an explanation. Turns out, he's been missing since that day. FML

And to anyone saying ydi for being a criminal... You can have a probation officer for things as minor as someone Selling or giving you a stolen bike. You dont have to know it was stolen, all you need is a pissy judge and you are ******. Or a pissy cop to add a few charges, and its no longer a misdemeaner. Ive had both happen.

Seriously, people? "YDI for being on probation"? Really? I'm not gonna go into detail about how OP could be in there for stupid reasons, as many people have defended that point already. What I'm gonna say is that people make mistakes. My fiancé, who is a WONDERFUL man, the best partner I could ever hope for, is currently in a probation detention center for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Yes, it was a stupid thing to do. Yes, he shouldn't have done it. But YES, he has changed since then. He'll have five years of probation for a crime he committed a year ago. A crime he committed as a teenager. It's ridiculous. He has changed. The fact that he made a stupid mistake doesn't warrant bad things to happen to him.
