Today, my husband got charged with felony animal cruelty, because while I was at work, he shot someone's hunting dog on our property. I'm a veterinarian. This should be great for my reputation. FML

Today, I found out my dog is a felon. He broke into a neighbor's house by breaking in through the screen door. He also vandalized their property by shitting on their carpet. Our neighbors are now considering suing us. FML

Today, my ex-boyfriend was granted parole, community service, and “rehabilitation” for the crime of breaking into my house, kidnapping my dog and killing her while I was at work, as retaliation for me breaking up with him. FML

Today, while on my run, I was attacked by my neighbor's new dog. It apparently didn't like me running past their house and broke free from its chain. I now have stitches and was just told that I'm probably being taken to court for the emotional distress I caused her and the dog. FML

Today, I learned that my husband “accidentally” let the dog out and allowed her to be eaten by an alligator because I got a male coworker, who is also a good friend of mine, a birthday present. We had an argument about our friendship, which apparently bothers him. I’d had that dog since I was a junior in high school. FML

Today, a coyote turned up in the yard where my son and his friend were playing. It was aggressive and foaming at the mouth, so I called the boys inside, and shot it. Now my wife is scared of me and half the neighborhood wants me gone for "dangerous behavior." FML

I’ve seen several stories on reddit lately about people shooting people’s pets. What in the **** is going on with people these days?? COVID giving everyone some kind of blood lust or what? Really sorry for the poor dog. I’d be pissed at your husband not just for your reputation but for him being a total, utter unfeeling asshole. That’s a family’s pet, companion, and friend, or at least a guy’s hunting buddy. These animals have personalities, and they have personal relationships with their owners and their families. And trust me, they are ******* devastated. I hope at the very least your husband feels remorse for such an act of ******* cruelty on so many levels. And if he doesn’t, he needs professional help. RIP, doggo 😢

Anyone who hurts an animal should have the same thing done to them. So your husband needs to be shot. Not fatally, but enough to make him realize the error of his ways. And then you slap him with divorce papers.

general rule of thumb is to shoot any stray dog you don't know that roams on to your property if you have animals/farm stock you want to protect. it's not fun finding your sheep torn to bits because Bob down the road can't keep his mut on his property.
