Today, I wanted to look really good for my date. I was a little self-conscious, so I decided to use Nair on my upper lip just in case I had a female mustache. Unfortunately, it turns out I'm allergic to Nair. Now I DO have a mustache. A rash mustache. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I decided to be safe and tested a small dime-sized amount of Nair on my inner arm before using it. I didn't react badly. But as soon as it was washed off from my down-there hair I sure as hell reacted, with small bumpy red dots that look like an STD. FML

Today, I was getting ready for a date. I spent extra time getting ready in the shower, making sure I was all shaved. I was shaving my upper lip to make sure I didn't have a mustache. I cut my lip really badly, leaving the most noticable razor cut on my face for my date. I'm a girl. FML

Today, I decided to use an at-home waxing kit for the first time to get rid of the hair on my upper lip. After experiencing the trauma of waxing, I fell asleep. A few hours later, I woke up to see that I now have acne everywhere I had waxed. I have an acne mustache. FML

Today, I decided to take a relaxing shower. My face mask made my face break out in hives. While exfoliating, my nipples became chafed. Then I slipped and cut myself while shaving. FML

Red alert

Today, I was going to bleach my bikini line, as I have not been able to shave there due to some ingrown hairs, and I also have to lifeguard every day. As it turns out, I'm allergic to the bleach. There is now an angry red, burning rash on my crotch that you can see around my swimsuit. FML

Today, because I have a beach party tomorrow, I used a new gel that is supposed to prevent razor burn after shaving the bikini line. Turns out I'm highly allergic to the gel. Now I have hundreds of beautiful red bumps that look like razor burn. FML

Okay, I don't understand. By you saying you are allergic to Nair, it must mean that this would be the first time in trying to get rid of a "moustache." Next time think for a few seconds. First off, he accepted to go on a date with you, and whether it was you, him, or one of your friends who got the date started, he at least has some sort of interest in you even though you have a "moustache." Second, next try something unless you already tried it in the past; for example, if you had use Nair before, then that's one thing, but you never did use it, and now you did, and you embarrassed yourself further. Third, if he still likes you, even with the burn mark, then perhaps you shouldn't try using nair in the future.

FYL because it sucks to look like that, but YDI for not reading the instructions. It says right on the bottle to do a skin test first. A LOT of people are allergic to Nair. I was one of those who didn't have a problem with it at first, but after using it several times, it did give me a rash. It was on my legs, though.

BEEN THERE. When I was in fourth grade my mom would make me nair my eyebrows and upper lip area, it was extremely embarrassing. Especially when we discovered that I was also allergic to it- and she kept making me use it.

I find the comments funnier than the FML. So I guess many are allergic to Nair and no one ever reads the ******* directions. Thank you, many people, for making my evening. F Your Lives.
