Never cross the streams

Today, I drove my ex-boyfriend home from dropping his car at the garage for new tires. On the way, I drove past my house where my boyfriend was sitting in the driveway ready to surprise me. My boyfriend watched us drive by. FML

Not that your boyfriend has a right to know your every move, but this could have been prevented if you simply communicated with him. It is as simple as, "Hey honey I still talk with Ex and he needs someone to give him a ride..." Usually if you are hanging out with an ex, the current boyfriend likes a heads up. Why you would hide this I don't know. But for future reference say something to the person you are with then there won't be mistakes/assumptions made.

Why are you with your ex-boyfriend in the first place? I want an explanation too! >8| YDI

and you mean on your way to your house with him you obviously weren't just taking him home and done helping him. I hate cheap ******.

Why are you still doing stuff for your ex.

if it's a good relationship he will trust you. he's allowed to question you but not interrogate you, and whatever you answer, which should be true, he should trust. you posting this as an fyl makes you seem suspicious

this is the kind of thing where if your friends with an ex - the current bf needs to be aware and you should have told him you were going to be doing this for him. ydi

If you saw him, why wouldn't you stop and let him know what was going on? You just drove by and made him wait with no explanation? Either you're a bitch or there's something fishy going on. Your boyfriend can do better imo. YDI
