Call the cops. Forget HR - they'll probably try to make it your fault somehow.
I have a master's degree in counseling psychology and work as a therapist, and although this story is very short and I may be making assumptions, you need to do more than file a sexual harrassment suit in this case. Everyone else's comments are helpful in saying that this is harrassment, or that you should carry pepper spray, or get a new job... but honestly this type of behavior is VERY dangerous and can escalate quickly. He could be delusional and truly believe you are in a relationship with him. He could also have narcissistic personality disorder and interpret any conversation you have with him as a come on. And also, since he told his wife about the situation and she kicked him out, he will now perceive this as YOUR fault and could become violent if his expectations for a relationship with you are not realized. Please be careful and get help. Take notes and report his behavior to HR and to the police and watch your back!
your boss is delusional. but congrats on the baby! enjoy your maternity leave..far far away from that man. when you get back? THEN find a new job. because i looked it up (i wanna be a career woman AND give birth to a few kids) and i learned that if you get a new job, if you get pregnant within a certain number of months within working there, they don't HAVE to give you maternity leave, so if you take time off from work to have a baby, you'll get fired. so have your baby (i hope the little guy, girl, or multiples is/are healthy) and go back to work just long enough to put in your 2 weeks notice and go elsewhere.
actually, you may not have been working there long enough for maternity leave in most places. maybe you can use his creepy crush on you to your benefit? make sure you can get maternity leave if you don't qualify for the minimum time requirement. and THEN take your leave, come back, put in your 2 weeks notice and go elsewhere
there's a movie you should see: "obsessed" starring beyonce. same plot as your life
69: I love that movie :P As soon as I read this FML, I thought about it. But...I don't think OP should get any ideas from that movie... :P
is it his baby?
