The only logical explanation for this situation is that your boyfriend is protesting the fact that Superman is no longer an American citizen. If I were your boyfriend I would still kiss you, but it would be followed by a request that you change your shirt, commie.

Yeah,but Batman isn't a SUPER hero. he is just a rich man with fancy gandgets(spelt wrong?). He has no real powers. Thus making him a hero. Not super at all. But Superman, on the other hand, has super powers. Thus making him a SUPER hero.

Uh, thats kind of the point 148! Any idiot can fight crime with the ability to shoot laser beams out of his eyes and fly through the air like magic. A person who dedicates their life to fighting crime WITHOUT the use of super powers is a REAL hero.
