Today, I was in line at the grocery store with my 3-year-old son. He was holding a tub of yogurt that had on it a cow wearing sunglasses. He shouted, "Mommy, look at the fat cow with the sunglasses on!" To my horror, the obese woman in front of us turned around. She was wearing sunglasses. FML

Today, I scolded my son at a buffet after he pointed at an obese woman in a motorized wheelchair and asked how anyone could let themselves get so unhealthy. As I lectured him on genetics and thyroid problems, she rolled past with a plate stacked with an obscene amount of fried food. FML

Today, while at the grocery store an elderly woman farted very loudly next to me. Everyone in the aisle looked our way. The woman pointed at me, and left the aisle. I received many disgusted looks from children and their parents. FML

Today, a bratty kid at Walmart called my mom a "fat bitch" when she wasn't walking fast enough for him. Enraged, I gave him the meanest death glare I could muster and I tore him a new one, right in front of his mother, who then defended her kid, saying that my mom and I should both lose a few pounds. FML

Today, I took my daughter to the grocery store. The bag boy seemed to be flirting with me and smiling. He had to be half my age. Once in the car I glimpsed myself in the rear view mirror. I had chocolate completely covering one of my front teeth. FML

Those of you who think this is "bad parenting", it's not. The kid didn't know that there was an obese woman wearing glasses in front of them! And I'm pretty sure you could have explained that your son was talking about the yogurt tube. I bet the woman would have understood. And it's not FYL, it's FHL. She probably gets called that a lot...and the people that call her that are NOT talking about yogurt tubes! But I bet this was very embarassing, so FYL. You DEFINATELY didn't deserve this one!

Copied or not I'd've broken into hysterical right then and there. You ever notice how when you call someone by a name that isn't theirs, they don't respond? She must have known she was a fat cow in order to respond to "fat cow". And really, if you KNOW you're a fat cow.... you should stop being a fat cow.
