People need to calm down, just becasue she couldn't remember or thought she didn't doesn't make her stupid or an idiot. Some peopel always have to double check, I"m one of those people. And if they don't it will drive them nuts until they find out for sure. FYL OP.

You really should make a "locking up" check list and mark stuff off as you do it.
My friends dad does that, he has OCD. He has to turn around and go back and checked that he locked his house about 6 times before he can leave.
That is OCD. Classic OCD. Go to therapy, you can be helped.

You guys, it's not Alzheimer's or OCD or anything. All humans experience the phenomenon known as douchebag brain. Douchebag brain is the main source of short term forgetfulness, for example: you walk into a room and immediately don't know what you are looking for, or, it makes you always remember to lock your car (or in this case, business) but can't remember if you actually did it or not. We all get it guys...
