Today, I hit a dead deer that had been left in the middle of the road. My car started to make a funny noise and smell, so I pulled over to check it, thinking I blew the tire on some antlers. The deer had got stuck in my front wheel, and I'd dragged it more than a mile. And it wasn't actually dead. FML

Today, I crashed my car. I saw a deer getting ready to run into the middle of the road, and I was very sleepy, so I panicked and slammed on the brakes, causing me to lose control of the car on the wet road. After I hit a tree, I realized that the deer was a plastic lawn ornament. FML

Today, while driving out to the countryside with my new boyfriend, we came across a deer lying in the road. It seemed badly hurt, but instead of letting me get out and make sure, my boyfriend decided to just run over its head to finish it off, then continued driving with a smirk on his face. FML

Today, at 4:30 a.m., I hit a deer on the freeway on my way to work. I've only had this car for 6 months and it's totaled. I had to wait hours for a tow. On his way to pick me up, my husband's radiator blew and his serpentine belt shredded. I also missed a day of work. FML

Today, I volunteered to go get ice cream if I could use my mother's car. She told me to be VERY careful. Not ten minutes later, I hit a deer, which got up and walked off as though nothing had happened. FML

Today, I spent an hour and a half washing my car. As I was driving down the highway, a large bird flew over my car and accidentally dropped the dead animal he was about to have for dinner. It landed on my windshield. FML

Today, I was on a drive with my uncle. We saw a dead deer on the side of the road and expressed our pity for it. Then a squirrel runs across the road and my uncle swerves toward the squirrel, laughing hysterically and yelling, "Run rodent run." FML

Who hits a deer and just keeps going? and who the hell can't realize its dragging along side your car? I hope you get attacked by a rabid deer then drug behind him while he craps on you then get bit by a rabid raccoon and then eaten by a bear. You are a moron

I don't really understand some of the people on here, but here's my opinion. I think that if a deer is either dead or alive, you wouldn't hit it on purpose for many reasons. If it were dead, there's the concern that it would damage your car; a deer is a pretty big animal. If it were alive, there's still the concern that your car would be damaged of course, but the big idea here is that it would hurt the deer as well. Whoever thinks it's fun to hit a deer with their car should see what it's like to be hit by one themselves first. As for the second part of the post, you're a jerk. I know you thought the deer was dead and wanted to check on your tire, but come on, more than a mile? If you hit any animal, dead or alive, you should always stop and check it out...
