Y does everyone keep saying its rude? My friends wouldnt care if i was at there house eating before they arrived. Cuz my friends and i have more of a family relationship. Maybe OP's friend normally wouldnt care. He made a mistake on the house. Its really not that rude.
If it's a friend the OP hasn't seen in ages and they don't even know for sure what house they live in, I doubt it's a family-like kind of friendship. This seems like more of an acquaintance than a friend, and in that situation it's incredibly rude to go into the house and take food uninvited.
That's so funny, but who just lets themself in?
My stomach hurts of laughter XD
Where did you learn it was
Where did you learn that it was ok to go in any of your friends houses and expect to be able to help yourself lol XD
I have friends who live up the street from me I can just walk in their house like it's my house & do whatever I want but I don't because I wasn't raise that way. Why didn't you call your friend beforehand & asked if they were home. Since you was in their "house" you didn't see any picture or anything that would make you think if that was really their house?
Why would you just walk in and make food without making sure that it was his house?

Are you Goldilocks?
Well, that's why you don't go into a house you aren't sure about. Then eat their food right away? That's just disrespectful. You deserve it.
