On the wagon

Today, it's been almost a week since I returned from my vacation to Ireland. Before I rarely drank. Now I'm pretty sure I'm an alcoholic. You might think I'm joking, but I've woken up hungover every day since I landed there. I basically paid to kill my liver and become AA's next poster child. FML

So you're saying rather than take responsibility for your choices, you're blaming a stereotype to justify your problem?

You should have tried to put a limit on the amount of drinks you had.

Lower the amount of drinks you have or just attend AA anyway...it does help

May the luck of the Irish be upon you :-)

So what you're saying is that you're basing your poor judgement off of a stereotype…I don't know how anyone could possibly think this is a FYL

I hear there's this statue that creates miracles... maybe it can cure you of your alcoholism. Blood comes out of the statue's ass, all you have to do is touch the blood. There's a long line but if you're willing to wait your turn, you can be cured.

well like they say "When in Rome....."

I'm Irish and most of my family are pioneers (I can list 6 off the top of my head) so please don't force a stereotype on us that we don't all fit, it's your choice to drink not ours

Unless someone literally grabbed you and forced the drink down your throat, it was your own fault. As someone from Ireland I am offended by you blaming an entire nation for your own recklessness. If you're old enough to drink legally you're old enough to know your limits. The fact of the matter is only you are responsible for how much you drink. Don't drag an entire country down with your mistakes. That being said, I hope you had a lovely holiday otherwise and that you enjoyed other aspects of Ireland besides the alcohol.

Jesus we don't force feed people drink here....if you can't keep up with the amount we drink then don't!
