Today, I had a spur of the moment idea to go have my nose pierced. The piercer made sure to tell me how easily the little stud could get caught or hung up. I spent all day stressing over it only to scratch my nose and rip it out. Now I have a $40 bleeding hole in my nose. FML

Today, I was adjusting my nose piercing from the inside. My mother saw and thought I was picking my nose, so she slapped my hand away, tearing my nose ring out in the process. FML

Today, while fighting with a girl I hate, my nose piercing got a little loose and I ended up snorting it in. That same girl had to take me to the hospital for surgery. She told everyone afterwards. FML

Today, marks the seventh day of having my nose pierced. I'd done everything I was supposed to do, even sleeping with a band-aid over it. This morning, I woke up to my piercing being ripped out by my pillow, and the band-aid nowhere in sight. FML

Today, I posted a question on a forum asking if my week-old nipple piercing would get hooked on anything easily. People assured me that it would be fine. An hour later, I had to climb over a wall to get something and in lowering myself down I forgot about it and dragged my nipple along the wall. FML

Today, I got a nipple piercing. My girlfriend thought I was pranking her with a fake piercing, because I wouldn’t be "daft enough" to get a real one, and she yanked it off, or rather through, my nipple. Yes, it cut my poor nip in half, and I now have two nipples where once I had only one. FML

Today, I went to get my hair done. The hairdresser managed to catch my eyebrow piercing in his comb and almost rip it out. I now look like I have a gunshot wound on the upper right hand side of my face. I'm getting married in a matter of hours, and I still had to pay £100 for the hair cut. FML

Today, my 5 month old son decided that my lip ring was a toy. Thinking it would be ok, I let him touch it. He got his finger caught and pulled his hand back. The lip ring is still in, but now I have a huge gaping hole in my face. FML

Today, while at work, I managed to scrape open the inside of my nose with my fingernail, drawing blood in the process. I had to quickly up an explanation for my scream that didn't go: "Well, I was scouting for boogers..." FML

Either he didn't use proper jewellery or you were scratching incredibly hard.. It shouldn't rip out that easily.. I have to twiddle with mine to get it out!

Ouch! I've done that when mine healed up. Hopefully it heals just fine! You can probably go back to the person who did the piercing and ask them if they can reinsert the ring. Clean it when seasalt water (the seasalt can be found in the seasoning aisle of your grocery store, it's where I found mine!) and try to avoid touching it.

I'm confused because I accidentally forget and scratch my nose piercing all the time. It hurts a bit but the stud pulls out if I scratch too hard. Maybe you got an actual ring instead of a stud to start? Or you scratched with more power than a nose scratch should ever need. If you decide to re-pierce, get a stud until it heals, then get the hoop/ring.

Been there, done that. I hope it wasn't too bad, if you're going to try again there are different kinds of studs. Some of them are easier for beginners than others.
