Ouch

Today, I had a spur of the moment idea to go have my nose pierced. The piercer made sure to tell me how easily the little stud could get caught or hung up. I spent all day stressing over it only to scratch my nose and rip it out. Now I have a $40 bleeding hole in my nose. FML

Surely it can't be that hard to not scratch your face, especially when your already stressing about it.

Ouch.. Make sure that doesn't get infected OP

You should be able to get it back in, expect some pain though! I did the same thing when I had my nose pierced

If you were that stressed about it, you could have taped it?

ouch, the pain penetrated my screen.

Not a good enough reason to use the word "penetrate".

Don't worry, a lot of people do it. I half did, 2 of my friends did as did my younger cousin. Just a lapse in judgement but I will tell you know, it is a b---h to put back in. Like ripping your hymen all over again.

I wouldn't say that's the same thing.

Too much information 16, too much information!

Ouch but how did you not realise that the itchy feeling could be the piercing you got only that day

People with tiny noses look funny with rings sometimes, because the ring overwhelms the face. I have a big nose so the stud looks too small on me.

Most piercers recommend you start with a stud because sometimes rings make the piercing heal curved and its hard to put a stud in later.

There was an FML like this where her nose ring ripped out while she was asleep.. Stuff like this makes me never want to get my nose pierced. Ever.

They're really not that had. I've had mine for a few months and i've knocked it part out my nose maybe 3 times. Never yanked it out, have no idea how people manage that mine is pretty ******* secure.

Kind of your fault for getting a piercing... And being stupid

What's wrong with piercing your body? Just because you don't like it or find it attractive, doesn't mean everyone else shares your viewpoint.

Ok, here's a great idea, lets have a total stranger put a needle through my nose and then stab a 4 mm piece of metal through it. Then I can act surprised when I lose it or it gets ripped out when I scratch my nose.

I've had mine pierced 2 times. I've had it ripped out with my towel and during sex and once when hugging my aunt. Since it's a fresh piercing, make sure you clean it with with witch hazel but you can definitely force the piercing back in. It's gonna hurt.. Badly. But I loved my nose piercing so it was worth it. :)

I had mine pierced for over 4 years and eventually just took it out. When I first got it pierced I had the kind with a ball on the end, which is a bitch to get back in, ESPECIALLY if it's not healed. A few weeks after I got it, I took it out once to clean it and didn't get it back in in time. The inside started closing up and the ball wouldn't go through. I had a brand new pack of seeing needles so I stuck a new one through real quick (I know not the smartest move but I was panicking). It was thin enough to get through and as I pushed it down it opened up the hole more, so I could get the stud back in there. It was pretty much the same way the piercer did it except that I was just widening the whole back up, not making a new one. It worked, so if you get it redone maybe keep a new (but unlike mine, sterilized) needle laying around just in case! If you decide to get it redone OP, I recommend the L-shaped studs! Really easy to get in and out once you get the hang of it, but not so much at first. The screw ones might be good too but I could never get them in. I think the ball ones are great for at first, but after having it a year or so and swapping them out all the time, the ball didn't stop it from coming out anymore.

They actually don't use just sewing needles, or at least SHOULDNT. Piercing needles are hollow, so it makes a little hole instead of just pushing through the skin.
