Also, there's actually a website. http://www.ihatebutterflies.com/
get over yourselffff
Being phobic makes all the different. If you're just 'afraid', you don't have a panic attack. Phobias and fears are two different things. Phobias are irrational. They cause people to respond to something innocous as if it's life-threatening. When I see a butterfly or moth, my gut instinct is that I'm in danger of being hurt somehow, even though I know they can't do anything to me. It sucks, and it's embarrassing as hell sometimes, because butterflies are generally well-liked (despite being just the same as any other insect with pretty wings tacked on), but it's not something anyone can control, and therefore not something they deserve. Gah.
Doesn't the fact you've heard of it happening before make it more believable?
Riveting tale, chap. You're a pussy.
Remember the close-up picture of the butterfly from the "Wormy" episode of Spongebob? Lulz.
You've obviously never had a phobia that may seem silly to other people. ******* asshole. I have a phobia of all flying insects. No particular reason, but something flying that can maneuver like that is ******* creepy. You can't get over something in a heartbeat. That's like telling someone to get over depression. It usually makes the person feel worse because they know you don't understand the situation.
ohhh shit. i remember that. it scared me the first time i saw it. Loll
He forgot to tell the rest of the story... "becuase I stopped traffic with my fit, the drivers realized what was going on and got angry honked their horns, than let loose all of the butterflies they had in cages in their cars to sick on you and as you were preoccupied, with the hundreads of butterflies attacking you, every single car that had to wait on you hit you with their car. FML" That would make me feel sorry for you...
dude butterflies are nasty motherfuckers.
