I know how you feel, I was very nervous as well. Apparently, today, I was rejected from 2/6 of my schools, one of them being my back up, because I wasn't eligible. I just emailed my counselor to ask why I wasn't eligible, and I'm going to appeal this because I know I'm eligible :/. Hope things work out for you though.
Hey, as someone who works for admissions at a some what academically presegious (in comparison to those in the state) big ten school, if you waited this long you were screwed at basically any school, duh!!! You need to apply in Sept/Oct when you can start!!! The academics get harder daily!!! Our school went from an ACT of approx 25 (depending on GPA/Rank etc) in Oct to approx a 33 in Feb!!! duh!!!
oh...and for everyone saying its easy to get into your state college....I know people who had AP credits and didnt get into OSU. I graduated and I was in the Honors society and I as well did not get accepted to my state school. Its not easy getting into college...so for those who got into their first choices..kudos, and for those who didn't I'm sorry
hey, you should be proud of getting the job. i managed to get into basically every college i applied to, but was unable to land myself a job at target. so be glad for that!
#64's post is winner.
well at least you have a job now? and community college is better/cheaper. trust me, college isn't all it's cracked up to be..
I got denied by Target, but almost any school will take my money! At least you have a job, as shitty as it may be! What are you trying to be a pharmacist or something-try another field. Online college rocks!
uhm i kinda take offense to this. I work at Target, i have for a year and half, then again i got the job about 2 weeks after i turned 16. But seriously, it's not that easy to get into colleges being that there's a budget cut every other week. However, having said that, i am a high school senior, GPA (calculated using CSU Mentor) was 3.23 and SAT combined score of 1730. I applied to 4 universities (all within the Cal State system, CSULB, SDSU, Cal Poly Pomona and CSUF) and i was accepted into 5 universities, all 4 i applied + Woodbury university who out of the blue sent me an email saying congrats you've been accepted so really, you deserved that, you should know how hard it is to get into college, i've been preparing since middle school, but i guess my point is the fact that you were hired at Target isn't a pitiful fact!
#46, getting a job at Target is a bad thing? Hon, getting a job AT ALL is a good thing nowadays.

note to you... a back-up is supposed to be a school you're sure that you'll get into classic case of inflated head syndrome
You obviously overestimated your academic achievements. Don't feel sorry for you. Tough luck. Maybe community college is the way to go for you.
